When Saint John Neumann closed in July 2004 I felt as though my heart was broken. I felt better when I became familiar with the people and customs at Cardinal O'Hara High School. I welcome every new class each September by telling the freshmen. “Welcome to Cardinal O'Hara High School, a school of excellence and high expectations."
PLP has opened my eyes to new ways of learning. I now regularly learn every day from collaborators around the world using Twitter, Skype, RSS feeds, Delicious, Diigo, blogs, wikis, and nings. I sincerely hope that COHS students will have the same opportunity in the near future, and pray that I have the vision and wisdom to help make it possible.
